We decided as an Association to channel Guild Strength into concrete aid and projects for the weak and needy. Gilda's gift of "what matters is doing" was an invitation for us to live the present with industrious charity, to make every moment a "yes," a response of love.
And in the Association's projects we thought of bringing some help to Casa da Criança Nossa Senhora das Dores in Cândido Mota in BRAZIL.
To ensure quality and decent care for the kindergarten children in our project, it is not enough to have only good professionals; they also need a clean and harmonious environment to welcome the little ones. The day-to-day expenses are many, and for this reason there are not the necessary resources for the implementation and maintenance of the spaces of the House entity. The goal of this project is to keep the school environment welcoming.
Casa da Criança Nossa Senhora das Dores crèche accommodates 200 children from 4 months to 4 years old. The daycare center has 13 rooms and welcomes children with different backgrounds. But our project is geared toward children who do not have families or for those who have suffered violence or abuse, alleviating their suffering by also initiating the study of music.

Renovation, maintenance and painting of the kindergarten structure and restoration of school equipment to provide a decent, warm and welcoming environment for our children.

Implementation costs (Brazilian Real): R$15,650.00 (2,613 Euros for labor); R$7,500.00 (1,252 Euros for materials); total R$23,150.00 (3,866 Euros).

It's beautiful, this collaboration. And above all, the search together for Hope, in a land like BRAZIL, where many children have many difficulties due to poverty and neglect. The Sisters of St. Gaetano help these children live a dignified life and have a Hope.
